The Twin Cities Mayors’ Committee advocates on behalf of all persons with disabilities
to eliminate or reduce barriers that prevent inclusion into all aspects of community
life including work, business, home or recreation while actively striving to increase
awareness by their non-disabled peers. We provide scholarships to disabled students;

I love to help organizations who help people get a chance to realize their dreams.
When my Dad and our family had the dream of being able to make a living doing what
we loved to do, there were a few people out there willing to step out and help us
get started. That support gave us the confidence to keep working hard and stay committed
through some difficult times. TCMCD cares enough to help some folks with physical
disabilities get a chance to work hard and pursue their dreams. The whole Duck Commander
family applauds these efforts and I am proud to be able to speak to such a great
group here in our community. I hope a lot of folks will come out and support the
awards banquet this year. We are going to have a great evening together.
